Friends since the early 2000s, Jamie Brown Myer and Kelly Mancini Bladen met at Lake Anna at the Islands. They built their relationship through Jamie’s contracting business as she helped Kelly with a home remodel in northern Virginia.
Jamie started at the lake as a Class A contractor in the 90s. In 2013, she decided to make the move to real estate and become a realtor. Jamie’s success is attributed to her dedication, strong relationships, market knowledge, and deep concern for the motivations of buyers and sellers. She tackles new challenges in her lively, innovative, and authentic style. Taking advantage of her designations in the market (Luxury Home Collection Specialist, Accredited Buyers Representative, Military Residential Specialist, and Earth Craft Green Home Building), Jamie can help buyers, sellers, and builders navigate through all types of real estate needs and services.
With Jamie’s Class A contracting background, she stewards her clients through their transactions, providing all the information they need. This often encompasses advice on local architects, contractors, property design, and investors. Additionally, she counsels clients on the ins and outs of building their dream homes as well as evaluating the resale of homes.
Kelly started coming to the lake in the early 80s and then again in the late 90s to enjoy all the area has to offer. She spent many years in the tech field working in end-user instructing, hardware/network installations, network management, and managing an end-user support team. Throughout her career, Kelly’s work always involved some element of customer service. While contemplating her next career move, Jamie suggested that Kelly possessed all the traits necessary to be real estate agent. With that, Kelly started the process, and her real estate career began.
Both Jamie and Kelly are native Virginians and long-time residents of Lake Anna. This longevity has given them the opportunity to get to know the lake and the area very well. Their time in the region has created many opportunities to make friends and build relationships with people and businesses in the community.
Jamie and Kelly feel they make a great team. They are like-minded when it comes to the business of real estate, work ethic, and customer satisfaction. Their skillsets complement each other.
