In October 2014, Nittaya Hornbeck founded Habitat Maids, LLC. What started 12 years ago as a one-person operation now has a staff of 14 people working on five different teams to clean 10-16 homes each workday.

For Hornbeck, the journey getting to where she is today was a long one. With a passion for cleaning and the desire to run her own business, Nittaya started servicing first one house and then another. As word-of-mouth spread, more and more of her clients began recommending her to their friends and neighbors. After she began advertising as well, Habitat Maids really started to take off.

After working seven days a week on her own, she eventually hired additional workers to help manage the load. These days, Hornbeck and her team primarily focus on residential cleaning, which includes working for both full-time homeowners and cleaning rental units such as Air BnBs.

With an office in Fredericksburg, Habitat Maids services homes and businesses throughout the Lake Anna area and the wider region. Their work include move-in-out cleaning, whole house or individual room upkeep, after-party cleaning, deep spring/fall cleaning, inside oven, inside cabinets, inside fridge and appliances, interior walls and baseboards, and interior windows.

Depending on the level of need a client has, Nittaya and her staff can service homes or businesses on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, one-time, or as-needed basis.
